Community Involvement

Sonoma County Law Firm

At Shapiro, Galvin, Shapiro & Moran, P.C., we are proud to give to the community of which we are a part. Four of our six attorneys are lifelong residents of Sonoma County, and our firm is committed to the community and its citizens.

Members of our firm have served in leadership positions in the Sonoma County Bar Association, the Bar of California, and the Consumer Attorneys of California. Our attorneys have also served on the boards or volunteered for national and local charities and businesses, including the Sonoma County Central Red Cross, Santa Rosa YMCA; Sonoma County Formation Committee of United Crusade; Diocese of Santa Rosa Board of Education; Volunteer Center of Sonoma County; Ursuline High School; Cardinal Newman High School; North Coast Builders Exchange; Catholic Professional and Business Breakfast Club; Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce; Sonoma County Council on Aging; Social Advocates for Youth; and Catholic Charities.

Mr. Galvin served as the initial chairman of the City of Santa Rosa Community Advisory Board, a Board that was recently mandated by an amendment to the City's Charter. Mr. Galvin was appointed to the City of Santa Rosa Board of Public Utilities in January of 2005 and currently serves on that Board.
